[Ebi Senbei to Chikuwa no Kyowakoku (Ebisenbei & Chikuwa Republic)]

Pick out souvenirs and taste-test seafood snacks, and check out the factory where they’re made at the same time

This shop offers a variety of ebi senbei (prawn crackers), fish cakes, and tsukudani (food preserved by boiling it in soy sauce). Customers can fully enjoy selecting souvenirs, such as the unusual "Sakutto Ebi Choco" (crispy shrimp chocolate). Most products are available for taste-testing-visitors can try this and that and purchase the products they're happy with. The shop and the factory are part of the same building, and visitors can watch through the glass as kuruma ebi senbei (Japanese tiger prawn crackers), the shop's most popular product, are made one by one. Do have a taste of the freshly baked, heavenly-smelling crackers -and if they're to your liking, buy some for yourself, or as a souvenir.
