The flavors of Taketoyo, all in one place! A selection of miso and tamari from six different producers

Aji no Kura Taketoyo is a sightseeing spot in Taketoyo that consists of two eateries and a shop dealing in specialty food products and fresh food. Taketoyo is known for its local specialties: miso, and tamari soy sauce. The building's design drew inspiration from the storehouses where miso and tamari are made. Inside the facility is a miso and tamari corner, which sells products from six different producers. Each one has its own unique taste, so whether you buy one to give away as a souvenir or choose one to use in your own cooking, you can look forward to new, fun flavors. In the food court, you can taste mitarashi dango made with Taketoyo tamari and seafood dishes made with fish and shellfish caught off the nearby coast.
