[Strawberry Picking on the Chita Peninsula (Minamichita Ichigo no Sato, Ichigo no Oka)]

Delectably sweet, even when eaten plain! Eat your fill of Akihime strawberries

Akihime strawberries are very sweet with hardly any sourness, and the southern part of Chita Peninsula produces a lot of them. Minamichita Ichigo no Sato is a strawberry picking farm where visitors can eat their fill of Akihime strawberries. (Reservation required.) There is no time limit, so visitors can pick and eat as many strawberries as they want. What's more, as the farm has adopted an elevated cultivation system, you can pick them easily, without bending down. Sister farm Ichigo no Oka also offers strawberry picking. At a cake shop next to this farm, you can savor fresh strawberry sweets, like parfaits and cakes (separate fee).
