Chubu Centrair International Airport | Japan Highlights Travel, for sightseeing around Tokaido

Nagoya Station

[Chubu Centrair International Airport]

This international airport has tons of conveniences and connects the Chubu area to the world

Chubu Centrair International Airport opened offshore of Tokoname City in 2005 as the Chubu region's gateway to the sky. As both international and domestic airlines are in the same terminal, travelers can smoothly transfer between international and domestic flights simply by moving from the arrivals lobby on the second floor to the departures lobby on the third. The airport is very convenient and user-friendly. The terminal also has eateries serving local cuisine, the Sky Deck where visitors can watch airplanes take off and land, and even a bath with a great view. The airport is almost as fun as a theme park! With limited editions of popular sweets and a variety of events, the airport itself is a sightseeing spot.
