[The Little World Museum of Man]

An open-air folk museum introducing clothes, food, and houses from around the world

The Little World is an open-air folk museum focusing on the various cultures and lives of people around the world. Visitors can enjoy more than 30 facilities and their interiors which have been moved from their original sites in Japan and around the world and recreated. About 6,000 ethnic items from 70 countries are displayed permanently at the exhibition room in the main building. Experiences like taking commemorative photos in various costumes (fee required) and trying various ethnic foods make visitors feel as if they have traveled all around the world in a single day. Food events are also planned with various themes, so check the latest information before visiting. The circus, musical, and ethnic dance events held in each season are also well worth seeing.
