"Suyama Sengen Shrine", the starting point of the Suyamaguchi climbing route up Mt. Fuji, has been revered as a holy place since ancient times along with the "Fuji Sengen Shrine" located at Subashiriguchi. The "Suyama Sengen Shrine" is surrounded by shrine groves and the power of Mt. Fuji enriched in nature can be felt. It was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

Access Take the JR Tokaido Main Line from "Mishima Station" of JR Tokaido Shinkansen for approx. 6 minutes, alight at "Numazu Station". Take the JR Gotemba Line for approx. 35 minutes, alight at "Gotemba Station". Take the Fujikyuko Bus bound for Jurigi / Grinpa for approx. 22 minutes, alight at "Sengen Jinja Iriguchi" and walk for approx. 5 minutes.
Take the Fujikyu City Bus bound for Suyama from "Mishima Station" of JR Tokaido Shinkansen for approx. 50 minutes. Alight at "Suyama" and walk for approx. 10 minutes.
