Atami Ropeway | Japan Highlights Travel, for sightseeing around Tokaido

Atami Station

[Atami Ropeway]

Take in the view of Atami and tour through unique spots at Sancho Station

This ropeway connects Sanroku Station, which is close to the Atami Korakuen bus stop, and Sancho Station. After enjoying a roughly three-minute sky walk, you will arrive at the summit of Mt. Hachiman, home to many of Atami's sightseeing spots. If the weather is good, you can see the Boso Peninsula beyond Sagami Bay and Izu Oshima Island far away in the Pacific Ocean from the observation deck. In the surrounding area are romantic attractions such as the entertaining shrine priestess production, "Renai Omikujido", "Cape Aijou", where you can pray for success in love, and the adult theme park Atami Hihoukan. In addition, it is within walking distance of Atami Castle. These numerous unique spots make for an exciting trip to Atami.
